Five Streams.
One Practice.
The work of Sanctuary of the Seeking is categorized into five distinct yet inextricably linked streams. Each channel of practice is unified by a rigorous commitment to trauma-informed care, womanist liberation, and contemplative depth—attending to the tangled, the haunted, and the holy across personal and institutional terrains.
SPIRITUAL Consultation and Companioning
Trauma-responsive accompaniment tailored for LGBTQ+, neurodivergent, and BIPOC communities. We offer individual and small group sessions that are deeply womanist and conjure-rooted, providing a contemplative framework for those navigating religious harm and spiritual seeking.
ORGANIZATIONAL CONSULTING
Trauma-informed consulting designed for religious harm prevention, ethical caregiving, and restorative care. Through workshops and structural assessments, we accompaniment faith institutions in reckoning with the weight of institutional betrayal and building sustainable frameworks for justice and healing.
The Work of Public Scholarship
Grounded in the framework of haintology, Dr. Udofia’s research attends to unacknowledged institutional betrayal in Black Protestant churches.
Â
Her upcoming book project, Holy and Haunted, investigates the regulatory logics through which institutions manage and suppress spiritual and sexual dissent.

They also have a blog (Haints in the Margins) and a longer form personal essay space (Webwork Dispatches)
